The "Memory Tunnel" exhibition, focusing on the history of the Jadidism movement in Turkestan, opened at the Fine Arts Gallery of Uzbekistan.
On January 18th, the "Memory Tunnel" exhibition, focusing on the history of the Jadidism movement in Turkestan, debuted at the Fine Arts Gallery of Uzbekistan.
The exhibition was organized by the Public Foundation for Support and Development of National Mass Media in collaboration with the State Museum in Memory of the Victims of Repression under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Institute of History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Fine Arts Gallery of Uzbekistan.
At the opening of the exhibition, Akramjon Fozilov, the director of the Mass Media Foundation, spoke. He emphasized that such initiatives provide the general public, and especially the youth, with an additional opportunity to familiarize themselves with and study our historical heritage and to delve deeper into the ideas of the Jadid reformers.
The exhibition will be open until February 18, 2024.
