The Public Foundation for the Support and Development of National Mass Media held a seminar on social media technologies, their impact on the capabilities of content makers and journalists, as well as the reach and activity of users.

The main speaker was George Chen, an experienced journalist, professor at the University of Hong Kong, and former managing director of Facebook in China, Mongolia and Central Asia.

More than 70 media representatives from all over the republic took part in the seminar (online and in person). During the seminar, participants gained knowledge about current trends in the development of social media and practical tips for expanding audience reach on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn.
