Corporate Communication Professionals and National Media Journalists Exchange Insights and Discuss Collaborative Plans at EUROUZ and Mass Media Foundation Business Breakfast
On 20 December 2024, the EUROUZ Committee on Public Relations and Strategic Communications, chaired by Beeline Uzbekistan, in partnership with the Public Foundation for the Development and Support of National Media, hosted a business breakfast for corporate communication experts and journalists. The event brought together over 30 professionals.
The central theme of the meeting was "Uzbekistan in the Spotlight: Media Perception and Strategic Directions." Journalists, heads of media relations from both the public and private sectors, national and international media experts, and business representatives explored corporate coverage topics and potential avenues for collaboration.
The significance of the event lay in its ability to foster closer cooperation, strengthen existing relationships, and facilitate in-depth discussions on specific issues. This platform also provided an opportunity for direct interaction between advertisers, represented by private companies, and the media.
Akrom Fozilov, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mass Media Foundation, emphasised the importance of collaboration between local and international media in his remarks:
"When our country is perceived as modern, open, and dynamically developing, it attracts new opportunities and drives economic growth. Open dialogue and the exchange of experience with international media help turn challenges into opportunities for progress."
The event featured an online address by Financial Times journalist Nastassia Astrashevskaya, who shared widely recognised best practices for covering corporate topics in international media and discussed global trends in the industry.
Representatives of Beeline Uzbekistan also provided insights into the upcoming GSMA M360 Global Summit, set to take place in Tashkent in May 2025.
The event concluded with a networking session, where participants exchanged ideas and explored potential joint projects.
