“Journalist’s work in a digital format: social networks and blogging, coronavirus and self-isolation, external and internal influence”
The online training “Journalist’s work in a digital format: social networks and blogging, coronavirus and self-isolation, external and internal influence” will be held for media representatives, employees of press services of state authorities, as well as marketers and PR-managers from August 18 to August 20, 2020.
The training is organized by the Public Foundation for the Support and Development of the National Mass Media, in cooperation with the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan and the Agency for Information and Mass Communications under the Presidential Administration.
Trainer: Mikhail Dorofeev is a journalist, media manager and PR specialist from Kazakhstan. Professional experience: he held managerial positions at Era TV company, KTK channel, Megapolis and Express K newspapers, worked as head of PR services at “Verniy Capital” Company Group and “KazMunayGas Exploration Production” JSC. He is a member of the National Council of Public Trust under the President of Kazakhstan, co-founder and board member of Kazakhstan Media Alliance, and permanent member of the jury of the “Ak Mergen” PR National Award.
The training program: “Change of media consumption and media landscape”, “Mass media and social networks with messengers: competition or cooperation?”, “Fakies: where do they come from, and why do people believe them?”, “UGC: how to make the information consumer to become its producer?”, “The main traffic sources for Internet media”, “SMM and promotion of mass media over the Internet. Peculiarities of offline media promotion”, “What is Storytelling and Why is it needed in mass media?”, “The editor’s work in digital reality and pandemic conditions”, and other relevant topics.
Participants who have successfully completed the media training will be awarded special certificates.
The training is a part of a joint programme of the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan and the Mass Media Foundation.
