A two-day training session concluded today in Fergana, organised by the Mass Media Foundation and the branch of the international NGO Search for Common Ground in Uzbekistan as part of the SHE LEADS project. The session featured local partners from the Fergana Valley who had completed specialised training courses.
Focused on tackling facilitated gender-based violence (TFGBV) in digital spaces, the session welcomed over 30 participants, including representatives from local NGOs, social media moderators, and activists committed to gender equality.
The event marked an important milestone for the SHE LEADS project, practically showcasing the multiplier effect of knowledge sharing. Such training sessions greatly expand the reach of media specialists equipped with digital literacy skills and help foster a safer online environment in Uzbekistan
