Today, the heads of the Mass Media Foundation, Nozima Davletova and Akramjon Fozilov, met with UNESCO Communications and Information Advisor Marius Lukosiunas and international expert on law and democracy Toby Mendel.

The draft Information Code being developed by the Agency of Information and Mass Communications (AIMC) was discussed. In particular, points on access to information were discussed. During the conversation, special emphasis was placed on the structure of the document itself and the ultimate goal of creating the code.

The Mass Media Foundation calls on the public and media to show active civic interest in this bill. The Foundation is ready to provide full support in the process of creating a working document for the benefit of public interests.
