Yesterday in the Tashkent region, within the framework of the “Strengthening the Judicial System” project, a three-day training began (https://t.me/oliysuduz/33474) for media representatives.

It was initiated by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan, USAID and the NGO East-West Management Institute. Partners - Public Fund for the Support and Development of National Mass Media and the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Director of the Mass Media Foundation Akramjon Fozilov spoke at the opening of the training. He focused on the importance of strengthening the knowledge and skills of participants in the field of covering trials and emphasized the importance of exchanging experiences and opinions on current issues of judicial activity.

During the event, participants will study the peculiarities of media coverage of topics related to legal proceedings, as well as discuss ethics and responsibility when creating content dedicated to violence, and exchange ideas on the conduct of investigative journalism and the preparation of analytical materials.
