Saida Mirziyoyeva participated in the Forum of Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asia

Saida Mirziyoyeva, Deputy Chairman of the Mass Media Foundation Board of Trustees participated in the International Forum dedicated to the Economic Empowerment of Women for Sustainable Development in Central Asia and Afghanistan, which was held today in Tashkent. The forum was held within the framework of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asia.

The event was attended by Tanzila Narbayeva, Chairman of the Senate, Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, Assistant Secretary-General, Director of the Regional Bureau for Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States (RBEC), representatives of both houses of Parliament, social and political leaders, heads of a number of embassies accredited in Uzbekistan.

The main purpose of the forum is to exchange views and best practices for the development of women's entrepreneurship, establish direct contacts, identify the most promising areas of interaction and establish cooperation and business partnership between women entrepreneurs from Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan. Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Further to the results of the international forum, a Joint Statement of the Dialogue of Women Leaders of Central Asia and a Roadmap for Cooperation in sustainable Development between women entrepreneurs of Central Asia and Afghanistan were adopted.
