The Mass Media Foundation congratulates you on the 29th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The country’s independence is the main wealth of the state, it is the right to be masters of our own fate, to preserve a rich historical, cultural and intellectual heritage.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev emphasized that the principles of freedom of speech and of the press, openness and transparency, public control over the activities of state bodies in Uzbekistan will only be strengthened further. And the media should play the most direct role in this process, as well as should become a reliable partner in these transformations. At the same time, it is important to remember that when making certain decisions mass media must proceed based only on the interests of the country’s prosperity and its emergence as a strong democratic state.
